The Weekly Routine

Clean the night guard with denture cleaner or mouthguard cleaners. Avoid mouthwash that contains alcohol as this may damage the guard.

Also, regularly clean the guard's case by washing it with dish soap then thoroughly rinse it off.

To deep clean organically:

1. soak in white vinegar for 30 min
2. Rinse and soak in hydrogen peroxide for 30 min
3. If the guard is starting to smell or turn colors, soak in water and baking soda solution for 30 min

Set a timer and do not over-soak in any cleaning liquid as it will damage the guard.
