Oftentimes it becomes difficult to realise that are we distracted from our goals. When we are thriving for our higher goals many times we get distracted by some thoughts or starts going away from our goals that we initially don't realise. Its very important to take breaks and self analyse that Am I still on the right track or Are my actions taking me towards or away from my desired goals.
