Let's all admit this fact, people barely listen to the speaker. Unless or until you'll find that the anchor is looking right into your soul. š
The same case will be there when you'll be addressing them.
That's the thing with the 3 people rule, there is a higher probability that those people will listen to you attentively as they will notice that you are noticing them and they will notice you too in return.
Even if you feel nervous in between while addressing, look down and speak. It's just normal to look down and speak, act like as if you're reading something.
