- Make it doable. The value of purpose lies in actually using it. Purpose must be something you can understand and put to use at every moment.
- Co-create it. You can't mandate purpose; everyone should own it. However, when purpose is actively used, it motivates, clarifies, and guides.
- Make it central. Purpose must extend to the entire team. It should be present and central to daily decision making.
