”I read it” and “I understand it” are not the same. To help us understand what we are reading, try to note these down while you read:

  • Your own understanding on the matter (in your own words, not copy paste)
  • Your own questions
  • Your own thoughts from combining what you have read with other related topics emerge in your mind. Tips: try to connect the dot by defining what the relationship is between those two.
