- So all what is considered today as knowledge has its basis in some justified true belief. That’s to say earlier knowledge gives way to new knowledge. But in this tautology what’s to be considered first as knowledge and its basis ?
- To know something, possess the knowledge is strengthened & signalled by your justification & degree of belief about the same. E.g: the world bows to Jesus’ teaching and considers it sacred for he gave his life smilingly without any malice towards his enemies. Remember his last words while being crucified!
- So degree of belief is the strongest signal to knowledge.
