There are different approaches to reflective practice. One way to engage in reflective practice is to ask guiding questions. In the context of a recent event, ask yourself:

• How did I feel while the event was happening?
• What were my goals?

You can begin to create larger stacks by chaining small habits together. This allows you to take advantage of the natural momentum that comes from one behavior leading into the next—a positive version of the Diderot Effect.

Example :

After I pour my morning cup of coffee, I will medit...

1.After you “screw up” or say something you “shouldn’t have” – write down what you’ll say next time

2. Before and after going to an event or meeting, write down how you’re feeling, what makes you nervous and what you could do in the worst case scenario
