Both Rococo and Baroque art aim to evoke a sense of drama and theatricality. Baroque art often employed dynamic compositions, strong contrasts of light and shadow (known as chiaroscuro), and intense emotions to create a theatrical impact. Rococo, while more delicate and light-hearted, still incorporated elements of drama and movement in its compositions.
