Technically, no. You cannot become addicted to dopamine since your body produces it. But you can ruin its balance by giving your body too much of it without any effort to deserve it.
In a past article about delayed gratification , I discussed how struggling to reach a goal is more beneficial because it creates a habit of working towards a purpose. So when you finally achieve it, you also feel a well-deserved satisfaction.
