Is Every Living Thing Conscious?

Does cat thinks too about the life,the taste of the food,the temperature or even why is the other cat aggressive towards her....Do they think why is this man petting me,feeding me such small quantity. The answer might be No,they are just going with the flow of life without thinking about life.
