There might be many reasons for which we might be living our Iife

1. Just for the sake of it

2. For getting respect,power,wealth, happiness,wife,kids

3. For leaving an impact on Earth or history books

4. To explore new things,having fun with friends and family.

And the list goes on and on .....

The most basic thing would be that we might be remembered by our family members,our friends for 1-2 generations and then what ? The world would go as it was going. The seat which you used to occupy is now being occupied some other person,the path you took during your way home is now not being taken by you....but the thing is the other phenomenon won't be stopped just because you are absent from the world. The flower which was about to bloom will bloom. The coming Christmas would be celebrated with the same amount of joy even in your absence

Does cat thinks too about the life,the taste of the food,the temperature or even why is the other cat aggressive towards her....Do they think why is this man petting me,feeding me such small quantity. The answer might be No,they are just going with the flow of life without thinking about life. Their main aim is just finding food,being alert and alive,finding mates etc. They even sleep without thinking of it. They naturally feel drowsy and thus sleep

Do we need to have an aim,have a purpose,have a strict timetable.If yes then by now you would have already decided what is the reason for which you want to live ....

We are just passing the baton from one generation to another generation in the race called 'life'
