Norwegian wood was my first Murakami and to be completely honest... I hated it. I hated how he wrote women. I hated the story. I hated the protagonist. Then I gave the author another chance and read Kafka on the shore. I really liked this book. But still I hated how he wrote the women. They are just all the same. All bubbly and quirky and over sexualised. But I guess this just is his style of writing? I will give him another try because I really liked the story behind kafka but I can't see why people like Norwegian Wood. Maybe it's just me lmao because everyone else seems to love it
