Handwriting forces us to slow down. And that, you ask, is a good thing?
When we write by hand, we're less likely to switch screens like we do when typing. We don't have to deal with pesky red Grammarly underlines, and we're not constantly interrupted by notifications.
While writing by hand, we disconnect from the outside world and immerse ourselves in our own thoughts. We become present in the moment, practicing mindfulness. Isn't that great?
