Too much positivity is not cool, as it blinds us from facing, welcoming and understanding our and other people's feelings and emotions in difficult times. Positive thinking like "this will pass and get better" is ok and indeed very necessary, but crossing that line and devaluing your feelings of dissatisfaction is a dangerous point.
