Based on a Real Person

Victoria Shi's appearance and voice are inspired by a real person named Rosalie Nombre. Rosalie is a singer and a former contestant on Ukraine's version of The Bachelor.

The ministry said Nombre volunteered without payment. They stressed that Shi and Nombre are different, with only Shi speaking officially. Officials explained that Victoria Shi was created to help diplomats save time and resources.
