Avoid sketchy roads. This isn't some kind of game where we take unnecessary chances. We've all seen how corny thrillers end. Try picking roads that are busy, have lighting, or a popular shop nearby that you can always ask for help in case of emergency. Have your keys in your hands so that you won't have to spend time looking for them and expose yourself to danger when you arrive.
