We can't understand ourselves without our past

We can't really understand what's going on now without knowing what happened before. It's like building a house – you need a strong foundation. Even scientists need to know about history to make sense of their experiments. They're part of a big story, just like everyone else.

Remember Don Quixote? He is a great example of how books can mess with your head! He reads a bunch of old stories about knights and princesses and starts believing he's one. He dresses up in armour and goes around fighting windmills because he thinks they're giants.It's like his brain got stuck in a book!
