Stoicism: Where Did It Come From?

The name comes from the Stoa Poikile, a decorated public colonnade where Zeno had discussions with other people.

In our world now, "Stoic" means someone who remains calm under pressure.

But the original philosophy was about the rational structure of the universe. They called it "logos." For a better imagination, it could represent the brain, nerves, and webs.
