If your work is successful, in other words, you are obliged to thank your external genius for the help, thus holding you back from total narcissism. And if your work fails, it’s not entirely your fault. You can say, “Hey, don’t look at me—my genius didn’t show up today!”

“Why should I go through all the trouble to make something if the outcome might be nothing?”The answer will usually come with a wicked trickster grin: “Because it’s fun, isn’t it?” Anyhow, what else are you going to do with your time here on earth—not make things? Not do interesting stuff? Not follow your love and your curiosity?

If we get attached to whatever form, our infinit nature gets refuced to this single, finit form. We should treat our creations lightly.... Iike a game."
