To study culture, you have to distance yourself from it, which means the only way to study a culture is by not sharing it. The study of culture ask difficult questions about human nature:

• To what extend can you really understand yourself?

Death can be our greatest motivator if we let it. Once you understand what death means in all of its darkness, you’ll understand life.

The best way to deal with this reality is to go out there and live the best life you can, while you can.

• Preserve and enhance your status by withdrawing at the right moment, just before people start getting tired of you.
• Make yourself less accessible to increase your value in others' minds.
