The Heart of Spiritual Deception

Spiritual deception often mimics genuine experiences of God but distorts them. It twists Scripture, promotes pride, and draws attention away from Jesus. The Bible warns that Satan can appear as an “angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14), leading believers astray through subtle lies.

Deceptive experiences may feel powerful but ultimately lead to fear, confusion, or isolation. Recognizing these traps requires vigilance, grounding in Scripture, and reliance on God’s Spirit for guidance.
