I had already started a new job, so I was ready to close my laptop, call it a day, and move on with my day as if it was nothing special. But then, my parents and girlfriend orchestrated a mini-graduation ceremony at home. They bought a banner, and some confetti, and clapped embarrassingly loud during the proclamation. They reminded me that every goal deserves recognition. And I’m glad they did it.
