Feeling too much passion and attachment towards something can skew our perception of it.
And that's risky because it can make us unwilling to see the flaws in our plan.

Passion and attachment

Don't act upon your thoughts and feelings. They are not the ultimate truth or reality.
Detachment from thoughts allows you to see your thoughts from an outside perspective, letting them come and go without allowing yourself to feel too much about them.

Detachment from your own thoughts

Most of us misunderstand love to be all about holding on to the other person, trying to fix them and taking care of them in all ways possible.
We need detachment to not take personally other people's reactions, to not seek outside validation and to draw boundaries so that others don’t control us.

Detachment in relationships

When you detach yourself from the compulsion of owning things just for the sake of owning them you begin to experience real freedom and joy from things that really matter.
By clearing the clutter from our lives, we can all make room for things that truly add value: health, relationships, passion, growth, and contribution.

Detachment from material goals

Life is meant to be lived and to not to be over-analyzed.
So learn to see the lessons from an experience and move further in life with new wisdom and. Don't carry the bitterness, guilt and regret over the past experiences - they will spoil your present days.

With attachment comes a very strong urge to control the circumstances.
You put yourself at risk by investing so much of yourself into something, unwilling to believe that there is a tiny chance that it might not quite work out the way you plan.

It means that you do not rely on work alone to give you a feeling of completeness and to provide meaning to your life.

Why taking a step back is as necessary as moving forward From everything that I recall about my life so far, I can say one thing with absolute certainty. I have been an extremely passionate person. Passionate about everything. Be it life in general, work, friendships, relationships.

You want to feel the fear and do it anyway. When you're sitting there doing nothing, only thinking, you allow your thoughts and your fears to run how you feel about yourself.When you are not taking action, you live more in your mind. It's all really an illusion in your mind. When you're taking action, you're focused on the external world and it kind of takes your mind off things because you're focused on taking action.

"There's nothing to fear but fear itself"Most of the time it's not the thing that you're afraid of. Debunk Your Fears

Fear only exists to you in your mind and it is protecting you from the unknown. As human being, it's going to be normal to feel fear. It's going to happen for the rest of your life, but you do now want to let your fear control you. That is the choice that you get to make.

What Is Fear?

You always have the power to choose your thoughts. When we're afraid, we focus on the negative thoughts, when in reality there are so many other positive thoughts that can support you. Your fear is just one thought, is just one option. But there are other thoughts and other options out there for you to choose from.Choose your thoughts like you're choosing what clothes to wear. If wearing something makes you feel ugly then don't wear that it, wear something that makes you feel confident.

"Are These Thoughts Evidence-based or am I Just Thinking Irrationally?"

You are on this road trip of life. You are the driver and fear is that loud baby in the back seat. it's going to bother you and it might get in your headBut you have to accept that your fear will be there with you during this ride. And even though you accept that the baby is going to be with you in this journey, you obviuosly do not let the baby drive.You are the driver of your life, you can choose. You have to accept that you're always going to feel fear without letting it dictate your life.
