Is there a selfless deed in the world.
Whenever you do something for someone we think they'll feel good bcoz of it, in turn we also feel good for going that extra mile or thinking that extra for the time being. We feel good, does this feeling make the deed a selfish one. When we greet a street hawker, the caretaker of the building, we feel we made their day as they heard someone acknowledge their existence and work, but I'm reality didn't we just paid heed to our mindset to feel accomplished by doing something like that, we felt happy that we made their day, but in reality didn't we make our...
Ummm....food for thought !
We crave for acknowledgement and recognition.
It could be the smallest of things that might not even matter.
We try different available platforms to try and get the recognition. Recognition/Acknowledgement can be easily measured in terms of number of likes we get, the comments we get, the retweets we get, views we generate, stashes we get, etc.
Social media and such platforms provide us with knowledge but at the same time snatch away the purity of the knowledge.
No matter how much of a true relevance we have, if it isn't appealing to the masses it would be recognised.

Assuming bill gates/Elon Musk plan to realise their complete fortune, will it still be anywhere equal to his assumed net worth ?
What is the difference between a assed networth and the actual realisable net worth ? If that's the true net worth the why not calculate that.
They'll still be agonisingly rich, but would be far from what economically is assumed.
