You want to make sure your thoughts and attitude influence your performance, but you never let your performance influence your thoughts or your attitude.

Find it.</li><li>Don’t compare yourself with someone on a tv screen. Instead, start looking for the best in yourself. What excites you? What are you good at in your own career?</li></ul>Success is the peace of mind that comes from the satisfaction that you did the best with what you had. Whatever that is.

How to get a confident mind

<ul><li>E - Effort: Look back at your day. Ask yourself where did you give quality effort today? Where did you overcome procrastination? Where did you show effort?</li><li>S - Success: What did you do right today?</li><li>P - Progress: What do you get better at? Where do you show progress?</li></ul>Then ask yourself: What do I want to get at tomorrow? What do I want to attack tomorrow? What’s next?

Building confidence with ESP

You won’t have that sense of certainty about yourself unless you’ve done the work to build it up over the course of your training. If you have been diligent in your study or training, that is what makes you confident.It is important to put yourself in a training crucible so you get practice responding to fatigue, responding to a mistake, responding to a setback constructively. You can’t let a negative moment dominate you. Your training should include stepping up knowing how to get it right.
