Stress is a normal reaction that is a part of life. Stress manifests itself in different ways. Initially, stress activates our flight or flight response. Chronic stress can build into as tension, irritability and even depression.

Our 'fight or flight' response is just our body's way of handling the stress that we are facing. We become more alert and ready to protect ourselves if necessary.
