Writing down your goals is a small habit that can significantly impact your life. When you have clear goals in mind, you’re more likely to take action toward achieving them. You’ll have a sense of purpose and direction and are less likely to get sidetracked by distractions or obstacles.
But it’s not just about writing down your goals; it’s about making them specific, measurable, and achievable. Instead of saying,

Learning to say “no” is a small habit that can significantly impact your life. One way to follow your energy is to identify what activities bring you purpose and fulfillment. It could be anything from reading a book, walking in nature, or spending time with loved ones. Make time for these activities, and notice how you feel afterward. Feeling energized, you’ll be more productive, creative, and happier.

3. Follow your energy

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” – Proverbs 23:7. We often find it hard to stay positive when only facing adversity but it does have an impact on our energy and abilty to push through. It's the law of attraction. Trying reframing negativity e.g. instead of saying, “I can’t do this,” try saying, “I’ll do my best and see what happens.” All great things that have been done started with the belief that they could be. A positive mindset doesn’t guarantee success; a negative mindset almost guarantees failure. Realism usually guarantees stagnation and staying where you are in life.

4. Positive thinking

Mindfulness is being present and fully engaged in the current moment without judgment or distraction. It’s about being aware of your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings and noticing what’s happening without reacting. It can make you more aware of how you affect others by creating emotional intelligence through awareness.
One way to stay mindful is to maintain awareness of the present moment, practice meditation daily, or do deep breathing exercises. Set aside a few minutes daily to sit quietly and focus on your breath.
Mindfulness helps you bring all your energy and focus into the present moment to accomplish your goals. Mindfulness stops the mental and emotional time-traveling into the past and future.

Building On Everyday Habits

Specific is always better for a habit stack so that your brain can both spot the old habit easily and know exactly how to act on the new one in response.

Stack too involved an action on top of an existing habit and it’s bound to come tumbling down, no matter how stable the original habit. That's why Dr. Foynes suggests starting with a version of the new action that is very brief (no more than two to five minutes) in order to better guarantee it’ll stick, and then building from there.

Brevity 

Though brevity can inherently make a new task more doable, it’s also worth considering other elements of general attainability before you go stacking away. Look for the habits that are most ingrained and most consistently doable to ensure that anything you stack on top will be doable, too.

Attainability 

“It’s likely easier to stack together habits that have something to do with each other—like doing pushups with meditating, if they both make you feel more calm and empowered when you start your day—as opposed to stacking unrelated things, like making coffee and reading a book,” says Krastev. The more similar the items in your stack, the more likely you are to move seamlessly from one to the next until the whole thing is routine.
