Too often, as people grow older, they equate it with settling. As you grow older, you grow wiser, have more skills and more opportunities. But why do we end up settling? Change the game and start realizing your potential even as you grow older.

Growing up doesn't mean giving up

People grow apart and that is normal. Just because someone is apart of your journey doesn't mean they will make it to your destination. And vice versa. We shouldn't view this as a negative thing, it is natural and should be expected.&nbsp;

You are not obligated to keep certain people in your life

Just because everyone else seems to be settling for the bare minimum doesn't mean it's right. Keep your dreams alive. Indulge in your imagination. Find joy in the simple things again. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Reach for the stars! No one said being an adult meant you had to dull your spark.

Keep your inner child alive!

How well do we really know ourselves? Hint, you probably haven't even scratched the surface of who you are, why you are the way you are and what your purpose is. Deal with any past traumas or they will ruin you. Support yourself. Love yourself. Instead of trying to change others, focus on bettering yourself. This is where your strength lies.

Get to know YOU

Your purpose, your passion, your likes and dislikes - these are all already within you. Don't overthink or stress these things. Allow them to come naturally. Instead of focusing on if you are "doing it right", focus on being natural and learning from your life.
