I am writing this post quite late in the day, after scrolling through a bunch of posts in which people seem to show no interest in the new year whatsoever. In fact, they go on to say nothing changes except the calendar.On the contrary, I believe you should celebrate the new year with all your heart, or at least acknowledge the new year

Don’t let today be just another day in your calendar.

Because the new year does not just bring a change in dates. It brings lots of hope with it.Hopes of better lives, hopes of reaching new heights, and for some, hopes of starting all over.

I know that the new year itself doesn't magically change anything. But the hopes that you have for the year, are worth having. It is what's going to keep pushing you forward, not give up, and look forward to the next year. For living without hope is to cease to live.

Apart from that, it's also a significant day that reminds us that whatever goes around, will always come around. Nothing is ever permanent, not sorrows, not worries, and not failures.

If not for all these, it is a great excuse to spend a wonderful time with the people you love, don't miss this chance, not many of them come by.
