Even if you have a large project you're working on. DIYs don't have to take one afternoon they can last months. What matters is progress and what you have learned in the small steps along the way.

If you have something you need done, make sure that it is easy to do in comparison to other things. Such as simply making the items you want to do more accessable than the things that get in the way.

Eg. Leaving a project out on a table so you don't have to get all the stuff out, and putting the remote in a far room from the TV.
