I remember this one time I really wanted people to agree with what I was about to present. Knowing how narrow my presentation to a number of people's understand was, I had to start it like this: "Most of you understand the importance of school culture". By making my first hypothesis a fact led a lot if not all into agreeing with everything I had to say there on. The issue with most people is that if you happen to elevate them by telling them that they have the skills and knowledge on the topic, it is only 1% of the human race can devaluate themselves by disagreeing on the hypothesis.

Human beings have a very unique pattern of behaviour which makes us very vulnerable to manipulation. Like if you tell someone: "I know you trust me, don't you trust me?". First by telling the person that you are sure about their thoughts and judgements on you and asking them to conform to such makes your flaunted expectations on them almost something they can barely escape but rather agree that they trust you.
