In Zen Buddhism they say that if you have a glass of muddy water, and you let it sit long enough, the silt sinks down to the bottom, and itâs clear enough that you can see through.
And I think the analogy here is:
in stressful, difficult, annoying, scary situations, if you let it sit long enough, you start to get some clarity thatâs not immediately there.
