Coming back from Uni is a mix of emotions. You're happy cause of course, you're finally free and..your hangry. Dead hangry. You could devour a person whole.ย
So as soon as I walk out, I am greeted by vendors and mocked by street food, cause obviously I'm not going to buy them. I have some principles in life, afterall. I follow whatever I say. No unhealthy food, no food coated with pollution no matter how tasty and also that I'm broke.
Anyway, so what I do to 'discipline' my mind is I purposely get attracted to those delicious foods. Purposely make myself think their heavenly taste in my mouth.ย

Take their aroma in and make myself all the more hungry. So I tricked my brain that was trying to trick me into buying it.ย
That's not it. After craving that food so much (especially with my stomach having null contents), I tell myself no means no. And then with me gaslighting myself, I do not eat that food.ย
Resulting in built up discipline and willpower.ย
Cause if you didn't give in to the craving, you built more power..
But you built additional power, by making yourself wanting that thing more and then not having it.ย
