This course is intended for public health volunteers and professionals who will support contact tracing activities and who have no previous training in contact tracing. If you want to understand the process of contact tracing and, how it can contribute to controlling the transmission of an infectious disease, this course is for you!

Contact Tracing Training 

This course is divided into five modules:<ol><li>What is contact tracing and why is it important?</li><li>Supporting factors for successful contact tracing</li><li>How do we contact trace?</li><li>Conclusion</li><li>Final assessment</li></ol>You must achieve a score of at least 80% in order to obtain a certificate for the course. There is no limit to the number of attempts you may take for the final assessment.

After completing this course, learners will be able to:<ul><li>Explain what contact tracing is and how it can help to stop the spread of disease</li><li>Identify factors that contribute to the success of contact tracing</li><li>Describe the steps of the contact tracing process</li><li>Discuss methods that can be considered to identify, list and notify contacts</li></ul>
