After a talk with a friend who was venting frustrations about our parents I had a thought when she had asked me “why do we have to parent our parents?” in regards to communication and social norms.
The answer is actually pretty simple when you think about how much things have changed in the way that our generation deals with acceptance to social differences and how we adapt and overcome changes.
Think of all the social changes we’ve adapted to as a society in our short lifespan thus far.

lets be real, Society has changed greatly in 20+ years and since they were parenting.
