Companies need to realize they have power & the duty to do what is right for both. All consumers are citizens, but not every citizen is a consumer. Only following the money will lead to failure in the future. You can offer the greatest of deals, but, if you destroy the world you live in, your company is worthless. CSR should be taken seriously.

In 2019, understanding the troubled relationship that Earth has with Plastic, HP used over 1 million pounds of plastic that were ocean-bound, & recycled them into their new products. Saving then plastic & money, while at the same time helping the planet, HP demonstrated that they understood the role they play in society, & have used their voice, power, resources & responsibility to improve and innovate.
