“Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.”

Five Skills That Are Permanent

  • Dealing with uncertainties, insecurities and changes, rising above the stuff we cannot control and focusing on what we can.
  • Spending or investing time wisely, as time is infinitely more valuable than money, but is wasted.
  • The ability to change our mind and knowing that we cannot be right all the time.
  • A high level of Emotional Quotient (EQ), where we understand what others feel.
  • The ability to think through problems, situations and the decisions we make, both big and small.

George Bernard Shaw

“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”

Leonardo Da Vinci

“He who thinks little errs much.”

Traditional, hard skills, taught after school, like engineering, accounting, programming etc., are valued and are easy to measure. However, these skills are not permanent, and may only be valuable in the job market for a short while.
