Forgiveness

Forgiveness is not a binary(Yes or No) thought. It often has multiple levels to it.

Let's See:

  1. Zero Forgiveness: It's when you refuse to forgive somebody. No revenge but no forgiveness.Pretty uncomfortable situation.
  2. Conditional Forgiveness: You only decide to forgive somebody if they apologize to you. You expect something.
  3. Transformational Forgiveness: Here, you gather strength and calmness to forgive someone without expecting an apology.
  4. Unconditional Forgiveness: This level is what a parent has for a child. No matter what they did or what they might do, the parent has already forgiven them.

Get good at forgiveness

Most successful couples don't resolve all their problems. It comes back to respecting your partner, who will have different values and perspectives on some things. The key here is to abide by the difference, love them despite it, and when things get a little rough, forgive them for it.
