In this tragedy Miranda, son of the magician Prospero, marvels at the beauty and extraordinary nature of the world he is discovering for the first time: "O wonder! How many godly creatures are there here! How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world, that has such people in't". “O wonder! How many divine creatures do I see here! What a splendid humanity this is! O fearless new world, which hosts such men ”.
