He sets the standards and the framework so that they can follow his example and stay free from sin and karma. An incarnation of God also serves the same purpose. Each incarnation sets an example for humans to learn from him and emulate him in their personal lives, as the divine souls who repeatedly incarnate in their microcosms from birth to birth.
