This rage is not good for ourselves. We must forgive them and forget the incident for our own sake. Also, we need to detach from the person so that in future they wont use you.

Whenever the incident comes in your mind, just remeber all the good things, good time, you shared with them. Try to overpower the negative thought with positivity. Then leave them thinking whatever they have give you is balanced. Neither they owe you anything nor you. Let it go
