To use foresight and to tackle the world’s problems one individual at a time, we must be of sane mind.

We must also understand the problems and empathize enough that we want to give money to organizations that help, offer up our homes to those in need when we can, and do jobs that help shape a better future (among other types of action). We also want to share kindness and love to others — friends, neighbors, people we encounter at the grocery store — and raise kids that do the same.
