Mind what you say all day. Choose your words very carefully. If you keep saying all day that "you are bad at maths", you will never be able to learn it and always stay bad at it.
I'm not telling you to lie about it and boast that you know everything, but be careful how you frame your words. Instead of saying you are bad at something, you can say you are new to it or trying to learn.
