Since some of our beliefs are probably partially incorrect, the best way to spot them is to question some basic beliefs and assumptions.
Everyone is almost certainly wrong about pretty much everything. And we can never be 100% sure we’re right about anything.
We can only learn from our observations and hopefully be a little less wrong.
When introspecting, it’s common for people to ask “why”. But the question ‘why’ sucks us into an unproductive, paralyzed state. It gets us into this victim mentality.” And no matter how confident we are about the answer to “why,” we’re almost always wrong.
