This is the flip side of the six-month percentage above, but it’s a more motivating way to think about the effectiveness of the resolution setting. While it’s true that over half of those who make New Year’s resolutions ditch them halfway through the year, it’s equally true that close to half of all resolution setters are still on track to reach their goals by mid-year.
