Emotional power or power excersised from the heart is directly proportional to our capacity for emotional regulation and acceptance; and rational power or power excersised from the mind is directly proportional to our capacity for applying logic and intuition.
Any imbalance between mind and heart and the power expressed becomes either bias towards coercion and control or emotional manipulation. Power for the sake of power is basically the mind feeding off the heart or the heart feeding off the mind..
