There is a practice of energetic exchange with others that always leads to mutual benefit, especially when the privileges granted are through acts of love.

Energy Exchange

Letting go of what no longer serves us can be an act of love or hate. The simple act of acknowledging what no longer serves us may lead to a feeling of entitlement, absolution or forgiveness, and the actions that follow will either result in mutual benefit or a karmic debt. There are two sides to letting go and that's why karma plays a role. Service is one of the highest forms of worship, and in wordly interactions if it doesn't serve us, we won't be able to serve it, and vice versa. That mechanism is active in both begginings as well as endings.

Letting Go

Being in service is a strive because of the balance, or specifically the distinction, between service to self and service to others. They may have similar origins but have different energetic mechanisms and therefore different practices. Service to self matures within and harnesses the energy provided through self love, and may be extended to others, but definitely doesnt require or rely on them. Its an unlimited source and therefore doesn't depend on others nor does it deplete them or you.

On the other hand, service to others actually requires another to take place, but that does not mean holding space and being a spiritual doormat. It requires a level of humbleness that creates a bond rooted in both giving and receiving, creatively and honestly, to/from a fellow human being, and therefore is limited by the boundries of engagnent. Similar as the energetic exchange between student and teacher, or parent and child; it goes through phases, cycles and an exchange in roles.

Service To Others

Through my years of practice i came to realise self love is boundless, yet love towards others requires a dynamic... Giving 'freely' attracts takers and abusers, and therefore should be accompanied by the boundaries that govern engagments. In simpler terms there are traits and qualities that act as prerequisites to be able to achieve that exchange. Reciprocity requires a sense of belonging under a shared ethos or moral value. Giving requires a sense of joy and appreciation towards others. Receiving requires a sense of humbleness and gratitude that allows the cycle of exchange to continue.

Service To Self vs Others

The world is indeed a theatre of experience and we find ourselves on its stage in order to learn lessons that can only be taught in a physical realm. Four billion years of evolution on earth have led us to a point where we can make very fine distinctions between good and evil, darkness and light, love and fear, where we can make conscious choices that will impact us and others in profound ways.

The Earth Realm

'The spirit world' or the essence of our collective consciousness has used evolution to manifest physical entities in order to express itself in space as a function of time, and hence, learn lessons. Nothing in nature is void of consciousness. Not even the rocks. All natural states, all sentient beings, and all forms of life derive awareness from this vital force, which acts as a kind of timeless container. Consciousness comes first while physical realms and beings are projected manifestations of that primordial force. Basically, as above, so below, as many ancient wisdom traditions state

The Spirit Realm

The embodiment in nature is about our symbiotic relationship to this world, rooted in the interconnectedness with the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we walk upon. Modern 'technological' society can only be described as a counter embodiment, since it feeds on our attention and strives off our dependency. It appears to have been engineered to switch people off to the wider mystery of being alive, to bombard our consciousness with sterile, soulless messages of production and consumption, of envy and greed, that never get to the fundamentals of anything.

Modern Society

It also attempts to convince us that we are just a well structured meat sack, or a well executed accident of physics and chemistry. It also directs our purpose towards production and consumption as efficiently as possible.. And .. the general existential philosophy relays the message that when we are dead we go on to a non-physical space where all our wishes or fears come true and play on repeat forever and ever, and that our only legacy is passed on through our genetic information and what we leave behind in material accumulation.

I think we are a part of a very long, very infinite, very entangled journey, and that we manifest in human form many times upon this earth and in parallals. Reincarnation makes perfect sense to me precisely because I dont see consciousness as an epiphenomenon of brain activity, but as the true source of all created things.

Scars heal on their own on the outside. Then they leave a mark, a reminder of nature's resilience and our ability to overcome painsBut sometimes scars arent on the outside and they also leave a mark. Whatever that mark is, we carry it with us consciously and other times unconsciously.

Healing Scars

Ive always wondered if emotional scars can actually manifest physiologically. Being in the health and fitness field and connecting with friends and clients on that level gave me some insights.For instance posture and body language, are they in any way rooted in our present and past states of mind? Also stress consumers in general, whats their relationship with food like? Does that mental relationship of consumption manifest on physical wellbeing? Social experiences? What about their relationship with themselves? Then i started seeing a pattern emerge.

Scars Healing

An overweight client of mine was bullied in school. It was ugly. He eventually developed a tendency to slouch forward so his tshirt drops over his man boobs. 10 years later he has round shoulders, over developed glutes and tight hamstrings.A year into a fitness program he is slim with tight abs. Eventhough he worked on all the physical misallignments, when not aware of his posture he resorted back to slouching. It took him another 2 years working on his self esteem with a therapist to finally correct his posture.This is one example of the difference between mental and physical healing.

Physical Vs Mental Healing

If u ever went to a life coach session or followed a guru on instagram you probably heard the term ancestral healing. The basic lesson is this; some emotional traumas are pick up as kids subconsciously. Imagine a 2 year old seeing a parent freaking out at the beach and never going for a swim. At that age parents are basically gods to us. How do u think this affects the child growing up?Its very hard recollecting memories from that age, but is it possible that some of our fears have been passed down from our parents or even their parents? Just looking into this is a personal healing process.

Ancestral Healing

The term healing is sometimes misused. From a holistic prespective, the process of healing is natural and healthy. The misuse of it comes when its used as a tool to make u think ur broken and require (place product here) to get fixed.

Are u breaking inside? Not the sharp edged break, but the resonance of what created it, the sudden magnitude of impact that made no sense to the senses, time feels slower, you became naturally numb, and possibly dumbed down to frozen.. but that was once, now ur left with cracklings, an echo of a distant past where the pain was so strong it created an actual void. The story of a feeling that transcends time, and is physically manifest in your reactions and how you experience the present.

What Is Emotional Pain

But still... what is this pain you're so used to that you actively seek and sometimes find comfort in its warmth. Is it trully a warm cave of a once cold crack, or are you just numbing the pain by building camp fires in your head.. have you trully healed or are you just accepting the voids. Are they one and the same?

The story is in the story line, the role of fire in the plot of a crack becoming a warm cave in your mind, or the more mystical musical scale that forever loops. Which musical notes resonate with those base chords that once defined your world through pain?!You are both the instrument and the musician and some of those pains are just notes along a scale of an emotional past. Serving as a reminder and a contrast from pleasures to help facilitate self-rewarding behavior, to augment self regulation and to enhance cognitive control, reducing rumination and demonstrating virtue.

Can Emotional Scars Manifest Physically?

It takes strength to be good, and it takes more than courage to be powerful. You know how they say power corrupts, no it doesnt, it just exposes. Power amplifies and exposes cognitive and behavioral predispositions that already exist within us.The traits and characteristics required to excersise power are not the same ones required to gain it. Temperence is the ability to moderate our actions, thoughts and feelings, and is the virtue required to keep the lust for power under control. Allow me to dig deep into that mechanism..

Power Amplifies 

Emotional power or power excersised from the heart is directly proportional to our capacity for emotional regulation and acceptance; and rational power or power excersised from the mind is directly proportional to our capacity for applying logic and intuition.Any imbalance between mind and heart and the power expressed becomes either bias towards coercion and control or emotional manipulation. Power for the sake of power is basically the mind feeding off the heart or the heart feeding off the mind..

Emotional & Rational Power

Exercising power from a place of strength is virtue, and contrary when power is saught after to fill a void it originates from a lack or weakness. That lack is either rooted in the heart or mind, and one gain is at the expense of the other.For example, your own reasoning can utelise or feed off fear to suppress or avoid expressions of unregulated emotions, and the backlash is usually guilt or resentment. Likewise, a lack of confidence may feed off the rationale of the ego to avoid confrontations by a fake sense of control, and the backlash is usually shame or a lowered self esteem.

Strength

We need to align our behaviour and cognition to make it easier to realize our intended goals when excersing our power. Seeking power for the sake of power feeds our ego, no matter how powerful we may seem, if it originates from a lack it will need to feed on the weak and is only powerful in that said contrast.Weakness has no virtue, choosing when to excersise power takes strength, choosing how to excersise power takes courage, and choosing who to excersise power on takes humility and modesty.

Gaining power is an endeavour, wanting it is not wrong, but in order for it to be balanced it needs to draw from feelings, emotions and imagination as much as observation, analysis and logic. It takes both control and a restrain of impulses to be able to do something powerful, in other words, most of our bad habits are due to a lack of willpower.Temperence is the ability to moderate our actions, thoughts and feelings, can you see the link?

Its in the listening of the benevolent silence radiating from deep within. Where an echo from the earth, a prayer to the sun, a reflection of the moon and a story of the soul; expresses itself through our bodies and in the collective spirit towards love in action. It's always been there... always will be.

The sun symbolizes the rise and fall, the importance of night and day, summer and winter; in essence, to be equally comfortable while shining and while setting. The moon symbolizes our hidden realities and emotions, shows us how to go through cycles and phases, a reminder of lifes changing nature. Everything we experience we have the urge to label. However, the labels we place on feelings and experiences don't necessarily define them.

The labeling of good vs bad experiences in our head becomes the memory of that said experience. Good is simply a point of perceived advantage and bad is a point of perceived disadvantage formulated as a labeled perception post experience. Good experiences make you happy or motivate you to carry on, bad experiences guides your attention towards what needs change.

Good Vs Bad

Our internal condition bias determines our observation and this 'lens' cannot ever be entirely removed from our experience. It is our emotional reaction to that perception stimulus that becomes the memory of what transpired. Sun rise to sun set, full moon to new moon, yet we cling on to labeled memories as if they are god given instructions that dictate new perceptions so we can easily define our journey and who we are. The realization of that mechanism liberates the self from the identity, and the experience from the label.

Memories are a perception of a past reality, a probable present, and a tool to either change or fixate your future. So use your memories as data working towards the values you hold dear, rather than the identity you hold dear. In short, dont get stuck in the past, unless u really want too.

The first category of religions asks us to look at the highest good we can imagine and align ourselves with it. If we do this we wont need to worry about our day-to-day existence. They differ in moral principles but are similar in that if we follow the principles that the collective agrees too everything will work out to the greater good. Faith is key to staying aligned, and able to meet and become with God. All of the religions with star symbols, even those with multiple gods, fall under this category because theyre just fragmented stars across the metaphorical night sky of our consciousness.

The second category of religions asks us to ground and become aware of the smallest things, notice our breath and the mind body connection. Through that practice develop the ability to notice everything else. We are called to build awareness until we understand causation and only embrace actions aligned with our natural rhythms. They differ slightly in practice depending on where on earth they developed, but similarly call to opening our eyes to reality and be able to flow with lifes cycles, see visions for how to move forward in the world, leading to an awarness that we are all one with God.

Most people associate success with money, power, or material gains. I would argue that its more about the internal gratification rather than the externals, its about small or big progressions that u urself set to achieve and feel fulfilled while on the journey to acheive them.When u are content then u get to enjoy the journey with the ups and downs, with the riches and burdens, and most importantly u get to share these moments with the ppl u meet along the way. In my opinion this sense of belonging is the real success that can never be taken away from u regardless of where u end up.

How You Define Success Defines You

Internal success is a mirror of ur self-development and isnt always in alignment with the image u portray to the world. As an example, the lessons gained from experience, working on new skillsets, time management, getting out of a possessive relationship, setting self boundries, letting go of toxic obsessions; and the list continues. These are all huge 'internal' successes. Should they be polished and flashed upon the world like medals? or stacked inside a rare collection library to be shared with a selected few that deserve ur attention and understand ur struggle, as unique as they are?!

Then comes the external success, the one that has to do with how others percieve us. The end goal is to relay a certain image, and is always translated into power as a measure of success. Most humans are greedy when it comes to power, u noticed, and power can be broken down into one or several gains of the following.. wealth, intellect, political influence, social influence, physical strength, or gains of arms. To be portrayed as successful in the current hyper capitalistic world is to gain such power or influence; is there a way to do so without being internally corrupted in pursuit of power?

External Success

Power does not corrupt. Lust in a position of power, corrupts power. Feeding ones ego through lust for power is a shortcut to obtaining this man-defined success, also manipulating others perception is another shortcut. This conflicts with the prerequisites of internal success, cuz it relies entirely on how others percieve us. Since our reality is shaped by our subconscious if we are not as pure intended as we relay ourself to be, we wont be content, and if we are not content we cannot feel true joy, a precondition for bliss, and in that case worldy success and power will never seem to satisfy.

Everything has its origin in something else. You cannot get something from nothing. What we refer to as creation is simply a rearranging of atoms and molecules or energy and matter. When that matter and energy is rearranged, we create an illusion of difference by giving it a different name. Everything grows, nothing stays stagnant.
