On the other hand, service to others actually requires another to take place, but that does not mean holding space and being a spiritual doormat. It requires a level of humbleness that creates a bond rooted in both giving and receiving, creatively and honestly, to/from a fellow human being, and therefore is limited by the boundries of engagnent. Similar as the energetic exchange between student and teacher, or parent and child; it goes through phases, cycles and an exchange in roles.
