The Stone Forest of Madagascar, also known as the Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve, is a unique and otherworldly landscape of jagged limestone pinnacles and deep canyons, located in western Madagascar. It is one of the most important biodiversity hotspots in the world, home to many endemic species found nowhere else on earth.
This Forest is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is recognized for its exceptional biodiversity and unique geology. The area is home to over 100 species of birds, 45 species of reptiles, and 11 species of lemurs, including the rare and endangered Decken's sifaka.
