Syntopical Reading is a type of reading where multiple texts on the same subject are read and compared to gain a deeper understanding of the subject.

the reader selects the most important texts on the subject, reads them in parallel, and identifies the key ideas, arguments, and perspectives presented in each text. The reader then compares and contrasts these ideas across the texts to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the subject
